Your job

Being a Sales Manager means you have the challenge of helping us grow our revenue and customer base in Peru. In other words, you will sell and help us sell more. This also means:

  • You will own the sales process. You will design and constantly improve a sales plan, including a sales pipeline, channels, materials, messages and targets.
  • You will prospect, qualify and approach leads and close sales on your own.
  • You will keep the customers you bring in happy. You are on their speed-dial to help them with questions, training and pass requests to the team if necessary. In fact, you will be rewarded not only for capturing new customers, but also for retaining ones you already brought in.

This is a full-time position and we expect you to have no other commitments, so freelance consultants and firms please refrain to apply.

How your role will evolve

  • You will be prospecting, qualifying and contacting from day one, but expect your first month to be of intense training about the product.
  • You will be a team of one at the beginning (so you must be cool about doing all the work).
  • Over time, and based on performance, you will build and manage a local sales team.
  • If you help us grow, your role could expand regionally to the rest of Spanish-speaking Latam.

About you

  • You have a proven track record of at least 4 years selling B2B.
  • You are quite familiar with the tech ecosystem — You are a power user of technology and have a good grip about how the Internet ecosystem works, and the values and culture of the tech community.
  • You are humble and hands-on — You feel totally at home being on the phone, networking in person, cold-approaching customers and spending time with them doing post-sales work.
  • You are energetic, focused and self-motivated — You fare well under little supervision, set your own goals, organize your time, act fast, never let a deal go stale.
  • You have a good network in Lima — You have easy access to buyers, influencers and top decision makers relevant to our product. You can generate high-quality meetings on your first week.
  • You know your way around CRM software and can help us make the most of it.

Bonus points

Not required, but you will definitely stand out from the crowd if:

  • You have worked for US/European startups or tech companies.
  • Your sales experience include SaaS  and/or  HR/recruiting products or services.
  • Your network includes valuable potential customers outside Peru (the rest of Latam, US, Europe).
  • Your English rocks.
