Node.js Developer en Sportnav Creative Inc.

At Sportan we are focused on giving people a new way of communication and engagement with each other taking sports as the center of it. We want to bring people together using technology and make communities all around the world for people to have a healthy way of living and having fun which is the most important part of all.

We're in the process updating and taking our apps to the next level, and we need a back end API developer who works with our Development team to create and maintain API’s and our back end technology to support future plans.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Working with the Developer Lead to identify API and back end needs
• Understand proposed features and define API’s and back end technology to support implementation of those features
• Ensure that back end and API’s are appropriately documented
• Support front end and mobile developer needs
• Setting everything up in our development and production server

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Advance knowledge and experience of Node.js, Mongo and other back end technologies
• Desired experience with React.js
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Awareness of server-side performance considerations
• Expert knowledge of server-side frameworks
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
• Work with an advanced collection of APIs and tools that are already in place
• Work with Digital Ocean, AWS, or other virtualisation services.

Experience:

• Node.js: 1 year (Preferred)
• JavaScript: 3 years (Preferred)
