Key Responsibilities

As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Moventi, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your role will involve operating and supporting cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security in collaboration with global teams. You will be tasked with troubleshooting complex technical issues, providing advanced support to clients and internal users, and automating deployment and configuration tasks through Azure DevOps and other CI/CD tools.

You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices, monitoring and optimizing resources, and collaborating closely with developers and system administrators. Additionally, you will assist in the development and support of applications running on LAMP stacks and participate in cross-cultural and international customer engagements.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field. You will have between 3 to 4 years of technical engineering and administration experience, with at least 2 years focused on working as a LAMP stack developer and/or systems administrator.

We require strong experience in cloud hosting environments, specifically in Microsoft Azure administration and support. The candidate must demonstrate technical aptitude in troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting cloud infrastructure. Experience with delivering technical customer support in a cloud or hosting environment is essential.

Working effectively with diverse cultures and international teams is important, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate globally. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities, responding to dynamic cloud infrastructure needs, and automating operational tasks to boost efficiency.

Desirable Qualifications

Preferred candidates will hold Azure certifications validating their expertise in cloud technologies and best practices. Advanced experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, especially Azure DevOps, is highly valued to contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Additional knowledge of scripting languages, automation frameworks, container orchestration, and monitoring tools will be beneficial. Prior exposure to multicultural and global business environments will set candidates apart, enhancing team functioning and customer delivery.
