We’re looking for visionary Senior Backend and Full-Stack Software Engineers who are eager to create transformative solutions that shape the future of insurtech. The ideal candidates will bring the following skills and experience:

• Backend Development: Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable backend infrastructure that seamlessly integrates with multiple insurance carrier systems, while supporting our web portal and integration partners.
• API Design & Development: Deep knowledge of RESTful principles, API design best practices, and hands-on experience building APIs with frameworks like Next.js and Nest.js.
• Programming Proficiency: Strong experience with TypeScript and familiarity with modern development workflows.
• Data Integration: Skilled in integrating and normalizing data from diverse carrier APIs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and interoperability across systems.
• Error Handling & Logging: Ability to implement robust mechanisms for error tracking, debugging, and logging to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with product and engineering teams to define, refine, and deliver API requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Experience monitoring API performance and applying updates or optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Continuous Learning: A passion for staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends in API and backend development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience with building industry-critical software systems
• Senior level experience with backend languages and frameworks
• Proficient with PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS) and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing
• Familiarity with writing unit tests in Typescript
• Experience with Google Cloud products such as Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage
• Proficient with Git
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
