Job functions

Outbuild is looking for a QA Automation Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers building and testing our client’s web application. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

Understand the product and actively learn from it
Supporting the team in carrying out the tests in a comprehensive manner
Proactively seek to make continuous improvements in test coverage, automation, test methods, processes and tools.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and be detail oriented.
Participate and contribute to code reviews.
Be passionate about software testing and solving difficult problems.

Qualifications and requirements

Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience as a Software QA Automation Engineer.
Experience with test automation frameworks for frontend or backend technologies.
Strong experience testing and automation of API REST-based web services.
Strong communication skills and experience as an Agile team member.

Desirable skills

Strong experience developing automation tests with Cypress.
Experience QA automation projects and developing testing frameworks.
Linux , OSX and Microsoft operating system experience.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices.
Mobile testing.
