About Pangeti
Pangeti is a B2B marketplace connecting manufacturers across the Americas with global buyers—essentially an Alibaba for the Americas. We’re an early-stage startup with over 20,000 users on the waitlist and an MVP near completion. This role is part of a small, high-impact team that will finalize and scale our platform to enable cross-border trade in the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the founder and lead engineer to finalize, optimize, and scale the MVP.
Develop, maintain, and improve both frontend and backend features using a modern full-stack JavaScript stack.
Implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs, real-time chat features, and user dashboards.
Integrate third-party services (Stripe for payments, Cloudinary for image management, and messaging services).
Participate in architectural decisions and help plan and execute next feature releases post-launch.
Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with product and design to ship polished features with good UX sensitivity.

Required Skills & Experience

What you bring

4+ years of experience with modern full-stack JavaScript frameworks.
Strong English communication (written and verbal).
Experience building production-level SaaS or marketplace applications.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and scalable architecture.
Located in Latin America and available to work in U.S. time zones (CST/EST).

Backend: NestJS, Node.js
Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Hosting: AWS
Other: Stripe, Cloudinary, GitHub

Desirable Skills

Experience with B2B marketplaces or e-commerce platforms, UI/UX sensibility with an eye for polished features, familiarity with real-time chat or messaging functionality, and a track record of shipping impactful features at early-stage startups.
