Job Details:

We're looking for a smart and creative QA engineer to help test our HW-to-cloud, fully vertical home sleep testing platform. This includes both component-specific and system-wide testing of functionality from the device, through the app, signal processing, cloud infrastructure, and web app. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and methodic while possessing the skills to work quickly and creatively as part of a small, high-performing team. Reports to VP R&D.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior QA, developers, and tech leadership to test, evaluate, and perform quality control over our entire system.
  • Partner with Senior QA to build and maintain a comprehensive test library.
  • Work with developers, tech leadership, and product management to evaluate prototypes and other mission-critical efforts.
  • Contribute, as appropriate, to automation or DevOps efforts.
  • Produce documentation as part of ongoing test work and/or for compliance and regulatory purposes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA/Software testing working with both manual and automation testing.
  • Proven track record working with connected devices (e.g., smartwatch, or any device connected to the cloud).
  • Proven experience with full-cycle testing (writing, reviewing, and executing test protocols).
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Bonus Points!

  • Experience with constructing or maintaining DevOps toolchains and environments (any experience related to infrastructure, deployment, etc. is valuable!).
  • Experience working in regulated industries.
  • Experience working in startups or small, agile teams.
